TrueGrooves Launches Record Label and Releases "The KidGusto EP"

TrueGrooves Productions is proud to announce the launch of our record label and the release of our first record, The KidGusto EP, produced by DC’s very own KidGusto.

With over 20 years experience as a musician in various forms, KidGusto draws from his many influences to create intricate and moving music. He has performed in numerous musical outfits; from punk bands to jazz ensembles. He is charged with an uncommon versatility that can be heard in his performance based music as well as his original productions.

The 4 track KidGusto EP is an essential addition to every DJs collection. It is a versatile record that can be worked into any set. Side A contains sample driven party tracks that are sure to get people moving. Side B touches on KidGusto's musical abilities with his original mid-tempo track and a beautifully composed, lush down-tempo track. Whatever your pleasure, it can be found on this EP. We consider ourselves to be the “artist’s label” in the hopes that artistic freedom will lead to a higher quality product. TrueGrooves is the dream of a collective of DJs that did not want to play the politics of getting good music released to the masses.
