TrueGrooves Announces Their Latest Release by KidGusto, "KG Originals"

TrueGrooves records is proud to announce the release of KidGusto's KG Originals. This will be KidGusto's first full-length release. It includes fourteen original songs, and as to be expected from TrueGrooves' most successful and prolific artist, both musicians and singers alike have been happy to contribute both note and voice to the release. One can expect appearances by See-I international's Rootz and Zeebo, Washington, DC artists Mustafa Akbar and Joe Brotherton and the Miami based vocalist Bleu.

Of course, it is KidGusto's vision, whether as composer, arranger or organizer, that makes KG Originals his most comprehensive release to date. Here, sounds and cultures fuse. The carnival rhythms of Brazil, the paint-bucket crash of Washington DC's Go-Go and the trailing echoes of Persian classical music clang together, which, in turn, reverberate and create something new and original. Whether one's tastes rest within raucous, dancefloor bombast or the more mannered styles of a lounge, KG Originals delivers—sometimes in the very same song.
